The Red Fighter Piolet

Best biography I've read: The Red Baron
Front Cover
The Red Fighter Pilot (republished in 2007)
by Manfred von Richthofen
autobiography
I give this 4/5 stars
This is about the life of Manfred von Richthofen or also known as the Red Baron. He wrote this well on a victory tour which the leaders of Germany at the time thought it would be a good thing to raise moral. He writes about his early life and his later life and a lot of other stuff that he did to become the highest ace of World war 1 with over 80 victories.

There is not really a theme in this book but if there was I believe it would be always try your hardest and do your best.

This book is wrote from Manfred's perspective at all times. You read about only what he sees or hears.

This book is wrote for all ages. Anyone that wants to learn about The Red Baron.

I would recommend this book to any one who wants to learn about The Red Baron of just more of World War 1.
"I honored the fallen enemy by placing a stone on his beautiful grave." -Manfred von Richthofen
"It is better that one's customers come to one's shop than to have to look for them abroad."-Manfred von Richthofen

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

Greatest Fantasy: The Two Towers
The Two Towers (The Lord of the Rings, Part 2)
The Two Towers (1986)
J.R.R. Tolkien
Fantasy
I give this 5/5 stars.
This book is about a quest that a group must go on to destroy the one ring. Which is the only thing the Dark Lord needs to revive. They must go across Mordor to MT. Doom to destroy it though. This will take all they have to get it there.

A major theme in this book is to always try even when everything seems bad. As they have to do this even when it looks like they won't do it.

This book is written in a way so that you know whats happening at all times. Its written from third person so you always know what they are thinking.

This book is definently written for 12+ year olds.

I would recommend this book to everyone expecily if you like the movies or haven't seen them.
"J.R.R. Tolkien's writings are an excellent source of material."– Steve Cone, Bowie, MD

Iron Thunder: The Battle Between the Monitor and the Merrimac

Great Read: Iron Thunder
Iron Thunder: The Battle Between the Monitor and the Merrimac (Turtleback School & Library Binding Edition)
Iron Thunder (2009)
Wortis, Avi
Historical Fiction
I would give it a 4/5
Well this book starts around a young 13 year old who is hired to help on a secret project. Which is to be an assistant of the Monitors inventer. Which makes him a target for Confederate spies who will try to bribe him for information and he and his family need money bad.

A big theme in this book is Loyalty. Because this 13 year old who's family needs a lot of money but dosn't give information for a lot of it.

Iron Thunder is a realistic novel about a young boy who's dad died to the Confederate's. This book gives a good perspective of how life might feel like in that position.

This book is for 8+ year olds and up.

I would recomend this book to any 1 that is intrested

I read this book for an assignment in school. I thought it was great and I liked it a lot. It was a quick read but none the less I liked it.

Publishers Weekly:
“The spectacular clash with the Merrimac caps this intense and action-packed account of a battle that changed the course of naval warfare. Illustrated with period engravings, this is gripping historical fiction from a keenly imagined perspective."
Publishers Weekly, 2007, starred review
Banks Street Best Books of the Year, 2008
Beacon of Liberty Award, 2008, nominee
William Allen White Children's Book Award, 2009, nominee

Appealing Read: Inheritance

Appealing Read: Inheritance
Inheritance
Inheritance(2011)
Christipher, Paulini
Fiction
4.5/5
Well this book is about Eragon one of the last Dragon riders as he tries to overthrow the tyrant Galbitorix king who is also a dragon rider who killed all the other dragon riders. But it will take every thing he has to accomplish this. And will need help from every free person to accomplish this task. he will also need the help of the dragons. During this adventure he learns what he has to do to accomplish all this. He also needs to save the dragon race.

Throughout the book Eragon learns he will have  to make sacrifices to help every one else and help revive the dragon race that were almost extinct.

Inheritance is a action and adventure  book which takes the reader into the story and makes it feel very realistic well as much as a Fiction book can be. But the way the people act and do stuff doesn't seem as strange as it could. The reader gives the characters in this book a personality that feels real. This book also has many good guess that I would have never though of happening.

Inheritance is definitely a middle-high school level novel. being very long and using many words that most kids would not know. This novel would most likely be targeting 12-17 although I believe many adults would enjoy this.

I read Inheritance when it came out because I liked the first two of them. This was a great book although it is around 860 pages. I think it is a great read though even though it is that long. I still come back to it at times.
Miami Herald say“Luckily for us, Christopher Paolini knows a thing or two about capturing the magic, as he well proves in the final book of his Inheritance cycle… a pitch-perfect symphony of high fantasy”
Oh No They Didn’t (blog) says“The Harry Potter series may be over — but fantasy fiction has a successor to JK Rowling’s crown in the form of Inheritance by Christropher Paolini.”
I would defiantly recommend this book to anyone who likes Adventure, Fiction, and an Appreciation for good books.
